2016-11-02 — DOL Alert: Electronic Notification of PERM Letters

The Department of Labor has issued an alert that the Atlanta National Processing Center will begin issuing PERM notification letters and accepting certain audit responses and other responses via email beginning 12/1/16. Certified ETA Form 9089 PERM application letters will not be sent electronically.

    The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced Friday that businesses with more than 50 employees, at least half of whom are H-1B or L-1 visa holders, must pay a biometric screening fee anytime they file an application to extend the workers' visas.
